Helping Ellington Smile with Preventive Dentistry

Maintaining optimal oral health is important at any age, whether you’re 8 or 88. At Zahner Dental, we care for multiple generations of patients, sometimes in the same day.  Patients that started as children in Dr. Warren Zahner’s practice are now bringing their children to see us.  It is the ultimate compliment of trust in our practice when patients bring their child or elderly parent for treatment.  With the latest dental technologies and a welcoming atmosphere, our dedicated team offers several general dentistry services that are sure to keep your teeth and those of your loved ones happy and healthy for years to come.

We think our patients appreciate the convenience of receiving most of their care under one roof, so we invest hundreds of hours each year educating ourselves in a broad array of services often referred to specialists.  We have the technology, materials, and training to provide comprehensive care right here in our Ellington office.  In addition to fillings, CEREC crowns, and routine hygiene services, we provide pediatric children’s dentistry, endodontics, oral surgery, implant surgery, non-surgical periodontal therapy, Invisalign invisible braces, and implant-retained dentures.

The American Dental Association recommends that you attend regular dental check-ups and cleanings twice a year. The sooner we can detect potential problems, the easier and quicker the following care will be, saving you precious time and money. During your biannual appointment, one of our experienced hygienists will eliminate debris and plaque with an in-depth cleaning; then, we’ll closely and carefully inspect each of your teeth for signs of decay or damage. We also make sure to check for any possible indicators of periodontal (gum) disease, oral cancer, and high blood pressure. We don’t just use our eyes, either – with revolutionary technologies like 3D CT scans, digital X-rays, and dental lasers, we’ll track down problems located in tricky areas or that sometimes aren’t even visible yet! You don’t take any chances with your family’s health; neither will Drs. Warren, Shawn, and Jonathan Zahner with the help of these thorough general dentistry services.
